Sharing the fun with the family

So we were now addicts so the time had come to get the family involved.

I tried in vain with mine - and even though I got them all there in the warmer summer months (where 3 still complained it was too cold), one is a convert. A true outdoor swimmer in the making.

He went to the lido in the summer when everyone else bailed, he swam with the ducks when the weather was so delightful the pool was empty and he swam in the sea in May.  He had a tough time during lockdown but the freedom found in outdoor swimming brought him back to us. 

He still prefers the lido though as during one chilly North Sea trip the waves knocked him over, he cut his knee and lost a beach shoe 'That doesn't happen at the Lido and they also have pizza'. Exactly.
