Another south London excursion, but this time in a freshwater lake.

An Olympic sized outdoor pool with enough heating to take off the chill.

So we were now addicts so the time had come to get the family involved.

The reality of not swimming had gotten to us....

The situation was desperate, lockdown had closed pools for three months and the baby was a week from dropping. I had to get a swim in before lack of sleep hit...

Always keen swimmers, we have found even more joy in water and open sky. This is our journey from pandemic to lido tour, via rivers, lakes and oceans.
